Products & Coproducts
Under the biorefinery concept, supported by highly skilled teams and advanced technology, Bio4 produces products and co-products with the highest levels of efficiency and sustainability.

Anhydrous and hydrated bioethanol
Renewable fuel made from corn
We produce bioethanol through of enzymatic hydrolysis, fermentation, and distillation of the starch in corn. We supply high-purity ethyl alcohol suitable for use as a biofuel blended with gasoline (E12, E85, etc.), in its pure form (E100), or as an input for industrial applications (printing, chemical, and others).Anhydrous: °GL > 99.5
Hydrated: °GL > 96

Wet distillers grains (WDGS)
High-protein co-products for animal nutrition.
The non-fermentable components of corn, such as proteins, fiber, and fats, form wet distillers grains (WDGS, Wet Distillers Grains with Solubles) or dry forms (DDG, Dried Distillers Grains, and DDGS, Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles).
Dried Distillers Grains (DDG, DDGS)
These co-products are highly valued for their nutritional content, rich in protein, digestible fiber, and fat, as well as essential vitamins and minerals. They are used in feed for cattle, swine, and poultry, providing an efficient and sustainable option for formulating diets in growing and finishing stages.
Corn oil (DCO)
For energy and industrial use.
Our biorefinery also produces DCO (Distillers Corn Oil), a high-energy product and a low carbon footprint. It is also known as TCO (Technical Corn Oil). Its main applications include the production of biodiesel, renewable diesel, and SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). It is also used in pet food formulations and other industrial purposes. Like our ethanol, this product is certified under the ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) standard.
